Born Again Christian!
John 3:1-3 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him. In reply Jesus declared,
"I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God..."
Luke 1:26-33 "In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a decendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, 'Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.'
Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greetings this might be. But the angel said to her, 'Do not be affraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give hime the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."
"I believe that on the third day following his death, He rose again, from the dead. The immense stone that was covering his tomb was supernaturally cast aside and He was alive."
There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightining, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him. Now I have told you."
Matthew 28:1-7 "After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
"The evidense is proven by the simple fact that there were over 500 eye witnesses that saw him and, in most cases, spoke with him within a forty day period following his crusifiction, death, and burial."
(John 14:16-17 "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Councelor to be with you forever-- the Spirit of truth. The world can not accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.")
"I believe that the Holy Spirit is here and is the third person in the "Trinity". The "Trinity" is ONE GOD in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit."
"I believe that the Bible is the Key to Life, is perfect, and is to be our guide through out our physical lives."
(2 Samuel 22:31-34 "As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights.")
"The Bible was written over a 1500 year period with approximately 40 different authors... "
(2 Timothy 3:16a "All Scripture is God breathed...")
"The world has tried to destroy the Bible and the believers or followers of this book many times during the past 2000 years. However, what was written over two-thousand years ago is still present and relevant today. The "Word" which was written by God the Father, through the Holy Spirit, which guided and inspired the thoughts and hands of those earthly men, is still the only true guide (instruction book) for our lives today."
"Convincing others (witnessing to non-believers)..... that God is Real, that Jesus is alive today, that we are to submit to the guidence of the Holy Spirit, and to believe God's Word,..... is the basic duty that is required of all Christians everywhere."
(Matthew 28:19-20 "...go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.")
"We are to live our lives according to the "Living Word" (the Bible), and are to love one another as brothers and sisters in, and through, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior."
"A "savior" is a description of someone (in this case Jesus) who saves or delivers someone (speaking of us) from something which endangers us (the penalty and power of sin). We as Christians are God's instruments to be used by Him to lead others into the knowledge of Him."
(Isaiah 43:10-11 "You are my witnesses," declares the Lord, "and my servant whom I have chosen so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he, Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior.")
"Someone who does not know God might ask, 'What do we need to be saved from?' This question seems simple enough and, for the average person, a simple answer might satisfactorily be, 'from our selves', but even then they might think of you as half crazy for asking such a stupid question and giving a half-baked answer. Why? Because when we talk about 'eternal damnation', for example, the average person, can not comprehend, understand, nor believe the 'truth' as the Bible puts it. Words and phrases such as eternal death, sin, or faith in God are not the least bit important to them let alone something they would even concider worrying about. In fact if you mention 'Jesus' to some people, their hearts and minds are so scared with sin that they will even lash out at you verbally and sometimes physically. Truth to some people is to "do unto others before they can do unto you". 'Love' as the Bible describes it, has no place in their hearts."
"Simply stated, we (our souls) are all destined to go to hell (eternal damnation) after we (our physical bodies) die. This is because of 'sin'(our human nature) in our lives. Jesus is the only person who can forgive us of, and/or for, our sins and save us from an eternal death."
(John 14:6 "...I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.")
"Those who believe in Jesus, who trust Him as Lord and Savior, who hold true to this belief, through faith, to the depths of their being (their hearts) even in the face of mortal danger, and who will speak of this faith to others (confession and professing of faith), will not spend eternity in hell but will be "saved". Because of Jesus, through His Grace (mercy) and forgiveness of sins, the belivers' eternal souls will be in heaven after their physical bodies have perished."

The Difference
"...Lord, teach us to pray...!"
I got up early one morning
And rushed into the day
I had so much to accomplish
That I didn't have time to pray.
Problems just tumbled about me
And heavier came each task.
"Why doesn't God help me?" I wondered.
He answered, "You didn't ask."
I wanted to see joy and beauty,
But the day toiled on gray and bleak.
I wondered why God didn't show me;
He said, "But you didn't seek."
I tried to come into God's presence,
I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided,
"My child, you didn't knock."
I woke up early this morning,
And paused before entering the day.
I had so much to accomplish
That I had to take time to pray.
