Greetings and a warm welcome to this page!

Our road through life, generally speaking for many people, has to many pit falls and side tracks. Bad things always seem to happen when we least expect it and the result is that we get the wind knocked out of us and fall flat on our face. If we contemplated long enough trying to understand why life is the way it is, all we would accomplish is a migrain headache or a bad ulcer. Most average people and even some scholarly folks never come to understand why life is the way it is, so they blame someone else for their folly.

This is new!

As of May 22nd this year laone, my life has been turned upside down. Everything was on course for me to retire in January of 2010. Now I have been told that I have a brain tumor. I also have a potential macular degeneration in my right eye. That means I quickly became unemployed. We have to try to get throught the next few months with out an income. My wifes income goies directly to the house payment. What little savings will get us through about five months. THis is a time that calls for strong faith and hope that God will see us through this little storm in our lives. He is faithful! We have our trust in Him.

(Continued)

God gave us the freedom of choice yet most of us abuse it so much that it's no wonder that we are so screwed up personally and as a nation. We choose to be miserable or to be happy; to be in debt or gain financial freedom; to love or not to love; to lie or to tell the truth. It's called being the lord of our own life and it is sin. We choose to control our own destiny to such a point that everything in life becomes one gigantic mess. We often learn too late, that we are much too vulnerable to the wrong influences in life and, unfortunately, we keep digging ourselves into a deeper hole which before long becomes a bottomless pit with seemingly, no way out. We get depressed, begin to doubt our self-worth and invite people to our outrageous "pitty party" just to make excuses for our failures. What did we do to deserve this? Why does life have to be so mean to us? The answer is, we turned our backs on God, the very person who gave us the freedom to make our own decisions.

There are strong elements that are used by saten to distract and confuse people. Just in the United States alone the political left wants to destroy Christianity. Any other religeon is tolerable because it is not threatening to the way of life that many people have chosen to follow. In some places if you mention Christ you are quickly ushered out or told to shut up. There is NO Freedom of Speach when it comes to talking about Jesus.

There comes a point in life when people start to ask themselves questions such as, "where has my life gone; what have I accomplished; why haven't I achieved my goals and dreams; why has my family turned out the way it has; what did I do to get so screwed up; what good is all this money or all my toys when I am dead?" Some of these sound familiar?

There are no "if only's in life..."if only I had done this or that way back when, I'd be okay now; If only I had married the other person. If only I took the other job; If only I made the right decision." Wouldn't it be nice if people could get it right the fist time around? You can't go back to recapture the past, but there is something you can do to keep the "if onlys" from ever coming around again.

Start planing your future from this day forward with the right end result in mind. Every move that is made should be the right move. Every decision needs to be the correct and the best decision possible. Before any decisions can be made, thorough and satisfactory resarch of all avenues must be made. There is, however, a very important decision that can change your life completely and forever and all the research for making this decision has already been completed! This decision, if made correctly, will enable us to overcome all obsticles, great or small and still be able to hold our head high and will bring us unsurmountable joy all of our days! It is a decision to make a commitment. This commitment enabeling us to make right decisions must be done through a councelor.
There is only one councelor that can help us with any problem that might arise in this earthly walk through life. One person who can bring us to the realization that we can't do anything with out him except hurt, destroy or in other words, totally screw up our lives life. This councelor will enable us to decide what is right and what is wrong. He will enable us to evaluate the consequenses should we choose wrong, and the rewards for having chosen right. This person must be allowed to have full control over all our thoughts; all our financial pursuits; all our relationships; all things that are deemed important in our life such as life's ultimate and universal goals of happiness, peace, power, and love. With out his intervention, we will never achieve anything worthwhile or important. Without this person being in control, the question, "What happens when I die?" will have a dreadful and pitiful answer.

Who is this person? He is none other than Jesus Christ! He will help you if you stop trying to be the Lord and Master of your own life. Let Him fill that position. The greatest expert on your life is Jesus and he has a wonderful plan for you! If you invite him to become your personal friend, your life and the general reality of life will become much more rewarding, enjoyable and fulfilling. Hope will replace dispare! The feeling of being lost will be replaced by an unfanthomable reality of belonging! The nasty self-centered and self-pity attitudes will desolve and be replaced by pure joy. You will experience a rebirth of your life if you truely become a believer, personal friend, and follower of Jesus. Through him, life will have a whole new meaning. Your mind will change; your desires will change! Your purpose for living will change. You will be reborn into a new and wonderful person who wil have joy even whin things don't always seem to go right. He will give you new purpose, new attitudes, and deliver you from the past life into a wonderful new life, You must have the desire and courage to make that descision. He will give you a councellor to help guide you in every aspect of your life.

Jesus doesn't promise there will be no problems in this world, but he does promise that he will never leave us or allow us to face problems alone. He will always be with us in all circumstances and every sitruation. He is a true friend. He is the only way to the Father in heaven. It is only thorough Him that our life will have true meaning.

People everywhere need friends. Jesus is one friend that I hold dear and I would at this time like to share a poem that I wrote. I hope you enjoy it!

Count me a friend, Lord! Open my eyes and help me to see
Thy glorious riches you have provided for me.
Give to me your promises so sweet
That fulfillment in life is when you, my Savior, I can meet.

Count me a friend, Lord, whom I confess all my sins, all the great and the small,
And make my living ambition to give you my all.
Make me a lamppost bearing your light,
That all who can see will love you and know it's right.

Count me a friend, Lord this life so short that in a flash comes to end,
But by your eternal love, my spirit, to our Father you will send.
There are glorious riches for God's children in heaven, I've your word.
Yet for now, through my heart, I share the riches of love found in you, my Lord.

Bless me, Father, and count me a friend,
Of my Lord Jesus whom I choose to serve through my end.
Comfort me Jesus in my moments of need,
And help me to share you by the planting of your seed.

Count me a friend, Lord, though my heart be willing and my flesh be weak,
Keep me from sin and help me to be meek.
Encourage me Lord and grant me this wish,
That I might be strong and help net your fish.

Count me a friend, Lord, a helper, and to the end,
Grant me the courage that against flaming arrows I shall not bend.
When my life here is finished and to my judgement you send me,
I pray now that by then, Lord, I have helped so set one more soul free
